Cherry Live Light is currently only compatible with Mac OS 10.15 “Catalina” and later. Windows and Linux are not supported at this time.

Compatible Smart Lights
Hue System
Cherry is designed for Philips Hue lights (with a Hue bridge). Other Zigbee bridges will not work, only the official Hue bridge will. You must have a bridge, even if your devices support Bluetooth connections. You must also have at least one compatible light or plug from the list below. We suggest buying this kit to get started with Philips Hue. Hue bulbs are widely considered to be the best in the market.

There are many third-party manufacturers and it would be impossible to test them all. If you use a different setup and would like us to prioritize development for it, please email us at hello@cherrylivelight.com and let us know. If you try a bulb or smart plug not listed above, please let us know your results so we can add it to the list for future users.
Incompatible Smart Lights and Plugs
These devices are confirmed to not work with Cherry (yet!)
- WiZ Hue lights
- Any smart bulbs or plugs that only support Bluetooth connections
- Any smart bulbs or plugs that only support Z-Wave connections (this is because Philips hue uses ZigBee, not Z-Wave).
